Bolton Valley is located in Chittenden County, 16 miles east of Burlington. It lies along Interstate 89 near Mount Mansfield and Little River State Park. Bolton Valley is a four season resort located in the Green Mountains. When blanketed with snow, the mountains turn Bolton Valley into a winter wonderland offering terrain for all skiing abilities, riders and cross-country enthusiasts. Boasting nearly 1,700 feet of vertical, Bolton Valley Resort offers 61 trails, as well as night skiing, and 100km of cross country skiing. Services include lodging, a ski shop, rental and repair, post office, boutique shopping, grocery, deli and gourmet shop, cafe, pizza, and two bars. An evening nursery and preschool program are available. Safety services include lessons, a ski patrol, first aid and a hospital 20 miles away.
