Camp Plymouth State Park is located on the east shore of Echo Lake. Only 46 acres of the total 295 acres of the park are developed. The undeveloped area offers hiking trails, fishing, hunting, gold panning, and primitive camping.
The south side of Buffalo creek is where the group camping area is found, consisting of of six lean-tos, tent sites, pit toilets, and a large field for activities. On the north side of the brook is where a large picnic area is located, along with a play area, sandy beach, horseshoe pits, concession, and boat rentals.
