Granville Gulf State Reservation

North on Route 100, toward Warren, is Granville Gulf State Reservation. This is a seven-mile stretch of untouched wilderness that is worth driving through, but drive carefully. The winter highways are covered with ice and can be treacherous. Route 100 is a two-lane winding road in the Gulf. The Mad River flows north in this wilderness area and the Moss Glenn Falls freeze in the winter.
