Warren is located in
Washington County, 18 miles south of
Waterbury between along Highway 100 on the banks of the Mad River.
Named for physician and general Joseph Warren, who died in action at Bunker Hill, the first American killed in that conflict. Another small community, Warren Gore, is located to the north of Warren, and contains 6,000 acres.
