The Colchester School District provides public education to approximately 2,500 children residing in the town of Colchester, Vermont. Tuition students are accepted from the Islands (Grand Isle, North Hero, and South Hero) and/or other districts. It currently operates five separate school buildings and an administrative office building. The Colchester School District believes that teachers must continue to grow, to improve, and to achieve higher levels of competence in order to provide the best possible educational opportunities for all students. Each teacher will create a professional development plan designed to reinforce and improve his/her knowledge and skills while providing a model of lifelong learning for all students.
