Founded in 1911 as a teacher's college, Lyndon State College it is part of the
Vermont State College System. Its small student body of about 1300 full-time undergraduates is drawn mostly from Vermont, although a substantial percentage is from other states and foreign countries.
The college confers associate, bachelor and master's degrees in 21 areas. There are 10 varsity sports and two club sports on campus. Campus housing is available.
