The paddle-wheel steamship Ticonderoga, a New England lighthouse, covered bridge and historic New England structures dot 45 landscaped acres in Shelburne Village. Collections of fine and decorative arts, paintings, folk sculpture and a weathervane are included.
Many buildings, including a horseshoe barn, jail, country store, schoolhouse, smithy, meetinghouse, stagecoach inn, lighthouse, hunting lodge, apothecary and houses were moved here from elsewhere in New England, then restored. Art and artifacts depict early New England life.
