Humptulips

Humptulips, a farming community above the Humptulips River, once served as the logging outlet for the largest stand of Douglas fir in the Northwest. The stand was so dense that the loggers had little choice but to fall the timber in the same direction. Humptulips is on Highway 101 between Hoquiam and Lake Quinault in Grays Harbor County.
