Post Middle School, opened in 1981, is the only middle school in the Arlington School District and serves a student population of 956 in grades 6-8. The school provides a safe and secure environment to promote skills for lifelong learning. It offers classes for all subjects, including courses of reading, communication skills, social studies, math, science, health, and physical and special education. It also encourages cross-country, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, track and soccer.
