Arlington is 12 miles north of Everett, at the junctions of the North and South forks of the Stillaguamish River. It was formed through a merger with adjacent Haller in 1903. There is also an Arlington, Texas. Arlington is part of the Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA metro area.
