Different from a standard acute care hospital, St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute is a 102 bed freestanding facility that expands medical treatment allowing a patient to return to daily activities after a serious illness or injury. The care received at St. Luke's consists of therapy, education and training with the focus on the physical wellness as well as the psychological healing and behavioral recovery associated with the injury or illness. Medical rehabilitation involves many areas of treatment. Each area involves a unique approach to reach a successful outcome based on the patient's individual needs.
