Nolte State ParkGreen River Gorge State Park - Conservation Area |
A swimming beach on a small lake surrounded by natural forest areas have made this site popular with the local community for over 50 years; first as a private resort and most recently as a State Park. The lake is a popular fishing location both for stocked Rainbow trout and for moderate populations of native kokanee, yellow perch, catfish and bass.
In addition the park features picnicking, hiking, and bird watching.
The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
