Located in the heart of the Columbia Valley, Paul Thomas Winery is one of the pioneers of Washington State's wine industry. It was founded by Paul Thomas, who came from a fruit farming family in eastern Washington. Living and traveling in Europe and Asia during the 1960's, he attended the University of Paris, graduated from the
University of Washington and began experimenting with wine making at home. With help from help family and friends, he opened the winery in 1979, one of less than a dozen in the state at the time.
In addition to producing classic European-styled wines, the winery also produces unique fruit wines.
The winery is closed to the public, but Paul Thomas wines are available at many retail outlets throughout the Northwest. Wine Regions experiences can be found throughout Washington.
