The Newspaper and Printing Museum preserves as much as possible of the older equipment and methods of printing, called letter-press printing. The museum preserves an extensive collection of early newspapers from throughout Whitman County. The equipment on display, all of which was used by early-day printers, is still operational, although obsolete from the viewpoint of modern offset printing. This is just one of the many Historical Museums located throughout Washington. Tours and genealogical research available by appointment.
