Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden

This 22-acre garden has one of the largest and finest collections of Rhododendron species in the world. There are more then 10,000 varieties of rhododendrons represented from around the world. Along with rhododendrons, there are also numerous plantings of fern, primroses, iris, magnolia's, and many other exotic and unusual plants.

The Alpine Garden displays rhododendrons and other plants adapted to survive the harsh growing conditions of high altitudes, while a Study Garden arrays species of rhododendron for comparison. The Garden is open year-round, and guided tours, plants, and a gift shop are available.

Admission is charged. Also visit the Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection, located adjacent to the Rhododendron Garden.

Gardens are open to the public throughout Washington.
