Started out as Wordens Washington Winery, one of WA state's oldest operating wineries and in year 2000, they changed the winery name to Wyvern. This winery opened in 1980 with a log cabin tasting room and a garage for the winery. Since then, it has upgraded, and now have a modern winery, but they still sell from the log cabin tasting room. Wyvens believes fine wines can only be made from high quality grapes and maintains long standing relationships with growers from the Snake River in the east to the Yakima Valley in the west.
