Yakima Area Arboretum

The Yakima Area Arboretum is a living museum & botanical garden.

The Arboretum is located at the intersection of Interstate 82 and Nob Hill Boulevard (SR 24). The grounds are open every day from dawn until dusk.

The semi-arid climate of Central Washington (also know as the Columbia River Basin) provides unique conditions for display and study of native and exotic species of plants.

There are over 2,000 plant species in the Arboretum's collection on 46 acres of land adjoining the Yakima River.
