Comments: Austin Straubel in Green Bay is actually very nice for a small airport. It's been recently expanded & turned out very nice. I fly through Green Bay very often. Leaving GB, the security checkpoints are pretty quick to get through--they have separate checkpoints at each concourse (there are 2) & usually from the time I pull into the lot to the time I'm through security is less than 15 minutes, including checking bags. In terms of available flights, I have never had a problem getting in or out of GB. Northwest seems to be the primary carrier, & between DTW & MSP there are many flights each day. One complaint--no restaurant/bar once you get past security--only vending machines. I know it's a small airport, but if there is a delay you're faced with the decision to either go out & go through security again or go without booze (never a good option). The 1 bar that is on the wrong side of security closes early, too. Overall great for a small airport & better than most that size.
