The Hoofer Gliding Club, like all of the Hoofer clubs, is an opportunity to meet new people with the same interests, socialize, assume a leadership role (if desired), and learn or improve on a recreational skill. But unlike the other Hoofer clubs, the gliding club is the only one that teaches you how to fly! The benefits of becoming a member include having access to University vehicles to drive to the hang gliding school in Whitewater, WI or to any other hang gliding sites we choose and receiving a substantial discount on the price of the training program.
