When Jacob Leinenkugel came to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, in the 1860s, he knew he could bring the local folk the finest beer in the land. But, he also knew theres nothing niftier than being able to enjoy your brew in pleasant surroundings. He and his family had their special lake home north of Chippewa Falls. The accommodations were comfy, fishing plentiful and the beer great. But it was'nt complete without many visits from family and friends. Jacobs "Leinie Lodge" soon became known in the Northwoods for its great beer and friendly atmosphere. Today, its more than a place, although you get a sense of it when you visit the brewery in Chippewa Falls. Its more than a clubits a fellowship of men and women who love and appreciate the great outdoors almost as much as they love and appreciate fine, handcrafted beer.
