Located northeast of Chippewa Falls, Lake Wissota State Park has 1062 acres of beautiful country to explore. The lake was created by Wisconsin-Minnesota Light and Power Company in 1918. The park offers a 6300-acre lake for fisherman, 18 hiking trails, 1 self-guided nature trail, 11 mountain bike trails, 5 snowmobile trails and 8 cross-country ski trails. The park offers camping throughout the year as well as a 285-foot swimming beach
