In 1955, Leo and Bella Casper of St. Paul began establishing the Madeline Island Historical Museum. Today, the museum house one-of-a-kind artifacts and exhibits that are mainly found on Madeline Island and the surround areas. The exhibits tell the history of Madeline Island. The museum is seasonal and group and school tours are available.
