Pepin is located in Pepin County southwest of Eau Claire between Prescott and Alma along Highway 35 on the banks of the Mississippi River near Durand, Stockholm, and the Chippewa River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 839, a decrease of 34 since 1990.
