Hico West Virginia

Hico can be found in Fayette County (Southern Region).

Hico received its name in 1895 when the postmaster moved the post office from his house to a nearby store. The store sold a brand of tobacco called Hico, and the post office was named for it.
Hico is at the intersection of two scenic highways. US 60 passes Hico on its 71 mile run between White Sulphur Springs and Gauley Bridge and US 19 passes Hico about halfway along its 45 mile scenic stretch from Bradley to Sutton.
