The Tygart Lake State Park boasts many features and facilities suited to the outdoor adventurer, family-ready for a quite getaway, business group or small conference. The Tygart Lake lodge has 20 wood-paneled guest rooms featuring two double beds, color television, air conditioning and telephone with voice mail. The spacious lodge restaurant seats up to 100 guests for meals. The restaurant can cater banquets and receptions for special groups such as business meetings, family reunions and weddings. Programs on the park's natural and cultural history are offered. The park offers 5 hiking trails (Map and trail guides available). Swimming is offered in the roped off beach area monitored by a staff of lifeguards. Boats, game courts and equipment such as volleyball, basketball, and shuffleboard are also available for rental.
