Roane Vineyards is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains along the Ohio River Valley. It cultivates eight varieties of mostly French-American Hybrid grapes while planting more vines every year including a section of Cabernet Franc grapes. From the varieties of grapes grown at Roane Vineyards, the winery consistently makes fourteen different wines ranging from a dry red to a sweet dessert wine. The winery also makes seasonal fruit wines like Melomel, Plum, Raspberry, and their award winning Elderberry.
