Covering 909,000 acres in the Allegheny Mountains, the Monongahela National Forest contains many natural attractions. Some are visible from the summit of 4,861-foot Spruce Knob Lake Campground in Spruce Knob-Seneca Rocks Nat'l Rec Area. The Cranberry Glades, Seneca Rocks and July-blooming rhododendrons are among the forest's highlights.
