Pearl S. Buck Birthplace Museum

The restored Birthplace of Pearl S. Buck, Nobel and Pulitzer prize winning author. This house was built by the Stulting family who emigrated from Holland in 1847 and who lived here on a sixteen acre farm. On June 26, 1892, Pearl Comfort Sydenstricker was born. Today this is a historic house museum of 1892 with tours through period rooms with original furniture and memorabilia, West Virginia crafts, First Day Covers with Pearl Buck Stamps, and souvenirs. In the barn are 1892 era farm implements.
