Located 35 miles west of
Lander in the
Wind River Mountains. There are four guest cabins, main lodge, bunkhouse, saddle cabins, support cabins and large horse corrals for 60 head of good mountain horses for our guests. The ranch is the only ranch here at the end of the dirt road and at the Dickinson Park Trailhead.
We provide horse packing access to 35 high mountain lakes on our fishing pack trips in the Popo Agie Wilderness Area. Our ranch is very remote, pristine and simple with no electricity, just wood stoves and propane lights.
Youth Programs: This uniquely western experience is for boys and girls ages 10 through 16 who want to learn wilderness skills including camping, horsemanship, orienteering/map reading, mountain safety, equipment preparation, hiking and survival. Big game animals such as Elk, Mule Deer, Pronghorn Antelope, Bighorn Sheep and Moose outnumber Wyoming residents 2 to 1. Offering guided big game hunts since 1973.
