Exhibits on fur-trading, archaeology, and early settler history are widely displayed in this museum. Historic photographs, firearms, and tools comprise the majority of the collection in the museum. The museum offers guided walking tours of the
Jackson downtown area three times a week, approximately from June until September.
The Museum Shop offers books, old-time wooden toys, Old West memorabilia, and Native American jewelry.
