Trail End State Historic Site

This site is the former home of Senator John B Kendrick or the "Cowboy Senator." This fully furnished Flemish-style mansion, set on three and a half acres, contains elaborate woodwork, stained-glass windows, hand-painted walls and ceilings, and chandeliers. Guided tours are available only by appointment. Self-guided tours are available everyday, seven days a week, from March 1 through December 14. Closed mid-December through March.
