University of Wyoming Herbarium Research Collection. This library is only available by appointment. >P>The collection in the Rocky Mountain Herbarium contains material relating to the systematic classification of vascular plants, including ferns and fern allies, conifers and other gymnosperms, and angiosperms or flowering plants, fungi, and to a lesser extent, mosses, lichens, and algae.

The literature includes many floras from around the world, plant atlases, dictionaries, bibliographies on phylogeny and classification, plant chromosome indexes, guides to botanical literature, plant checklists, and early botanical surveys. Although there is representation from around the world, the collection is particularly strong in its coverage of western North America.
