Wyoming Dinosaur Center

At the east side of the city of Thermopolis, following the green dinosaur footprints on the street from the stoplight lies this interesting museum that houses a recent, extensive find of well preserved dinosaur remains extracted from the nearby Morrison Formation. The preparation lab, where bones are recovered and prepared for display, are available for touring. The paleontological site is available for public digging, and guarantees remarkable discoveries. Open year-round. The museum offers dig-for-a-day adventures, digging on an actual dinosaur site. Or, you can take a simple tour of the dig site.
