Comments: The Midnight Sun hotel is an establishment which I would have steered clear from had I known the nature of their dealings and the treatment of their workers. The following list does not even begin to outline the strife brought upon oneself upon involvement in the Wing's businesses. - carcinogenic cleaner used (dustbane). The liquid spray evaporates, leaving silica which is a verified cause of lung cancer. - employer totally inflexible in regards to scheduling and shift preferences. - employer treatment of employees is manipulative and derisive. - employer unwilling to consider needs and wants of employees, takes a defensive stance on inclusive issues. - employer changes shifts without any notice or input of the person it concerns. - employer makes false claims and does not follow through on promises, despite legal impetus (see manipulation). - no appreciation or acknowledgment during difficult weeks such as Musicfest and when large tours pass though. - willing to have workers schedule
