The Yukon Arts Centre, a non-profit organization, hosts a variety of professional, community and educational arts events as well as corporate functions, film and video productions and public forums. The art centre regularly hosts world-class artists, inspiring vocalists and internationally acclaimed dance and theatre companies. The theatre (seats 424 people) offers many kinds of music, dance, puppetry, and clowning. Public Art Gallery hosts 10-14 exhibits each year. Exhibitions include major traveling national and international shows as well as local exhibitions. Arts centre is also a community leader in arts education programming.
