This site contains many examples of 19th and 20th century Southern life. Visitors can see a beautifully re-created covered bridge, enjoy hearthside cooking samples in a log cabin, and see an authentic wood burning-style locomotive. The museum dispa lys Native American artifacts, a working smoke house, and an actual log crib from the 1850s. There is also a display of Cival War memorabilia. With a donation, guests can bring home stone-ground corn meal from the grist mill.
