The museum was officially opened July 1, 1967. The museum houses items from Camrose's pioneer days. Buildings such as the Firehall, Canadian (the local newspaper), R.C.M.P. Machine Building, the Blacksmith Shop, Oldtimers Hut, Mona Sparling Building, The Likeness School, St. Dunstan's Church, and the Pioneer Home are on display within the museum grounds and are open to the public.
