The fishing is excellent near this resort, which is located on the banks of the Little Mendeltna. There are many lakes nearby and it is at the gateway to Tazlina Lake and Glacier Lake.
There are over 100 sites and any size rig can be accommodated. Located 35 miles southwest of Glennallen, it is halfway between Anchorage and Tok. There are also rustic cabins and a free Museum of Alaska's Drunken Forest.
