St. Michael's Cathedral

St. Michael's Cathedral is the most striking symbol of Russian influence in Sitka. Built in 1848, the building burned in 1966 and was replaced by a replica a decade later. The original religious artifacts and icons were saved from the fire and are in their original setting.
