Lake Tallassee

This lake was formed by the Alabama Power Company's hydroelectric dams along the Tallapoosa River. The lake features a boat launch, picnic and camping. Ample public access available for boating, skiing or fishing. Trophy largemouth and striped bass are plentiful here.
