Therapeutic baths have been in hot springs for centuries. During the roaring '1920s, spas were built along Bathhouse Row. Today, Bathhouse Row and its eight historic bathhouses are protected as a National Historic Landmark District. You can experience the thermal waters in a variety of ways including tub and pool baths, hot and cold packs, whirlpool, and massage. For thousands of years, travelers have come to Hot Springs to be healed by its curative waters. Today, Hot Springs National Park, the oldest unit in the national park system, protects 47 springs - as well as eight historic bathhouses.
