The Amerind Foundation is an archeological research facility and museum. The site features more than 25,000 items that span 10,000 years of cultural history in the Americas, focusing primarily on the native cultures of the Southwest, the Pacific Northwest, the Arctic and the high native civilizations of Mexico and South America. Also on site is an art gallery, which contains the works of Native Americans and such well-known artists as Frederic Remington. Hopi ceremonial kachina art is featured. Picnicking is permitted on the grounds.

Amerind Foundation Museum is closed on all major holidays.
