The Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum is a renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place. Located in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, the Desert Museum, provides an astonishing living exhibit of more than 300 types of plants and 1,300 kinds of animals. This museum is rated one of the top zoos in the country by The New York Times and Parade magazine. Guests may explore the desert paths and view animals such as Gila monsters, hummingbirds, boojums, and much more amidst the beautiful Tucson Mountains.
The Museum is open every day of the year: October through February: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; March through September: 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
