The 36 bed facility, a picturesque structure built in 1938 out of red sandstone, is nestled in a canyon in the Southeast corner of the vast Navajo Reservation. FDIH is staffed by physicians who are Board Certified or eligible in OB-GYN, Pediatrics, Internal medicine, Psychiatry and Family Medicine, Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistants, Dentists and Opometrists round out the medical staff.
