Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument

The organ pipe cactus thrives within the United States primarily in this 516 square-mile preserve. The cactus grows in a shape so closely resembling hugh organ pipes that one can swear they hear the music emitting from them. The spectacular sagurao, paloverde, ironwood and ocotillo cactus also contribute to the desert landscape in this area.

There is also an interpretive center and a campground area.
