Saihati Camel Farm

Abdul Wahed Saihati was inspired by Yuma's landscape at the far end of town to raise and breed his favorite animals and other desert breeds like antelopes and wildcats. The camel farm specializes in rare and endangered wildlife of the Arabian Desert, and offers close encounters with Arabian Camels, Watusi Cattle, African Pygmy Goats and many more. All of the animals are friendly and fun to watch. A lot of the animals were purchased from the San Diego Zoo. The Saihati Camel Farm is open to the public for narrated guided tours October through May.
