Dease Lake British Columbia

Located 50 km north of the Stikine River, along Highway 37 in the North by Northwest region, Dease Lake is the largest service center on the highway. With a population of 700, the town offers accommodations, a campground, laundry facilities and service stations. Because of the jade holdings to its northeast, Dease Lake is known as "The Jade Capital of the World".
