While preserving its heritage, Surrey is a vibrant and growing city. Located between the Fraser River and the Canada/U.S. Border, Surrey offers shows and exhibitions at the Arts Centre, the Surrey Public Market, and the Surrey Museum and Archives. Other attractions include the Cloverdale Rodeo, harness racing at the Cloverdale Raceway and hundreds of parks, including the Redwood Park Arboretum. Tynehead Regional Park contains meadow and forest trails, and a fish hatchery. Surrey is southeast of Vancouver on Highway 1 (The Transcanada Highway).
