Known as "The Fruit Stand Capital of Canada", Keremeos boasts more than 25 fruit and vegetable outlets. Here, visitors can tour a working orchard, or see the Grist Mill, built in 1877, and operating again with its machinery still intact. The Keremeos Museum displays its artifacts in an old provincial police jail and Hedley's Museum showcases the Mascot and Nickel Plate gold mines. Main Street is a place to stroll while visiting shops and coffe houses.
