Kootenay National Park is situated high in the
British Columbia Rockies, south of
Yoho National Park.
For an easy hike in the park, the Valley View Trail is s self-guided hike that starts at the Redstreak entrance kiosk. It's rated easy and is suitable for a family outing. Ask at the park information center for directions.
